Storing and defrosting

  • On arrival — straight into the freezer at −18°C.
  • Defrost — in the fridge, 12–24 hours ahead, in a sealed container on the bottom shelf.
  • Once defrosted — use within two to three days.
  • Never — refreeze a defrosted chub.
  • Hygiene — wash hands, bowls and surfaces after handling.
